- Maintain a minimum 10mm expansion gap around all fixed vertical surfaces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is waterproof laminate the same as vinyl plank?
No. Waterproof laminate has a wood-based HDF core that resists surface moisture and spills. Vinyl plank has a fully plastic core that is 100% waterproof throughout. Waterproof laminate handles spills well but is not suitable for below-grade installations the way 100% waterproof LVP is.
What does AC4 wear rating mean?
AC4 is rated for heavy residential and moderate commercial traffic, meaning it handles higher foot traffic, rolling toys, and general household activity without premature wear.
